The arrival of HTML 5 could signal the start of a revolution in web design. Developers and designers are getting excited all over the UK, from London to Birmingham to Inverness, at the prospect of using this groundbreaking new computer language in order to create incredible designs. HTML 5 is gearing up to be one of the most influential and opportunity-rich programmes to hit the web.
Currently, one of the major players in the design world is Flash. Everybody knows what Flash is; countless websites use it as one of their major design components, and some websites are even comprised entirely of Flash programming. But once HTML 5 gets underway, the age of Flash may, in some part, be over.
It’s important not to consider HMTL 5 as a Flash killer, however; the two are not only really quite different, but can also be used together in order to make even better designs. On top of that, the development of HTML 5 has not quite gotten to the stage yet where it can become even close to Flash in terms of surpassing its design capabilities.
